The Bilbao Exhibition Centre is a flexible, versatile venue and the ideal location in which to host all kinds of large, medium-sized or small events. The BEC has 150,000 m² of exhibition space divided into 6 column-free halls, an open-plan layout and maximum clearance of 18 m.

The 18,000 m² conference centre is the perfect venue in which to organise conventions, conferences, presentations, celebrations, banquets, etc. The complex also has other additional facilities, such as the Bizkaia Arena, a multipurpose venue which can be used as a theatre for over 10,000 people, a sports pavilion with a capacity of 18,000 people, a cinema for 13,000 people or a 20,000-seater concert hall.

BEC CONVENTIONS is the BEC’s reception area. Topped by an impressive tower block of offices, the 5,500 m² venue is divided into three distinctive areas containing a total of 12 rooms over 5 floors with different layouts and seating capacities for between 20 and 2,500 people. The centre is capable of hosting all kinds of conferences, symposia and meetings and is equipped with state-of-the-art communications systems including fibre optics, interpreting booths, sound systems, Wi-Fi and closed-circuit TV.

ENTRANCE HALL: The entrance hall has a delegate registration area, cloakroom, sick bay and café. This area offers direct access to the conference centre and the pavilions.

ATRIUM:  A central thoroughfare which links the different venues and which can be adapted to many different layouts.

VIP AREA:  This area is on level 2 and is divided into three parts: a VIP lounge, a boardroom and a press room.

LUXUA:  This multipurpose exhibition hall is located on level 3. Its floor and walls are made of wood and the hall can be divided up into different areas. The hall is equipped with a catering area and can be used for cocktail receptions and banquets for up to 1,000 people.

AUDITORIUM:  The auditorium is situated on level 4 and has a capacity of 950 participants with writing tablet chairs and 450 participants seated at desks. There are 5 interpreting booths, a central projection booth, Wi-Fi and closed-circuit TV.

BREAK-OUT ROOMS:  There are eight modular break-out rooms on level 5 which can be divided up and changed to have many different layouts.
